AEA continued to strengthen workplace engagement and promote positive industrial relations through workers’ meetings held at Karen Roses and Redwing Roses Limited.
On 12th August 2026 AEA conducted a workers’ meeting at Karen Roses, bringing together management, employees, union representatives and the AEA representative. The session focused on sensitising workers on the importance and key provisions of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), with emphasis on employees’ rights, responsibilities and the need for effective implementation of the agreement. The meeting also provided an opportunity for the recruitment of shop stewards, including the Shop Steward, Deputy Shop Steward and Secretary. The process was conducted transparently and orderly in the presence of management, the union and AEA.
On 13th August 2026, another workers meeting was held at Redwing Roses Limited and the agenda of the meeting was to sensitise workers on good industrial relations and membership recruitement, through such engagements, AEA continues to support stronger industrial relations and the promotion of productive and harmonious workplaces within the agricultural sector.
