AEA CONDUCTS HUMAN RIGHTS TRAINING AT BLACK TULIP GROUP

The Agricultural Employers Association (AEA) conducted a Human Rights Training for the Black Tulip Group from 8th –9th September 2026 at Tropi Flora Farm with subsequent sessions held at Utee Farm on 10th September 2026 facilitated by Mr. James Mwenda Kenya National Human Rights Commission and Ms. Diana Maina, Legal Officer (AEA)

The training focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of human rights and their application in the workplace. Participants also explored key workplace rights, including freedom from discrimination, freedom of association, collective bargaining, freedom from forced labour and child labour, and fair working conditions.

The sessions strengthened awareness of the importance of respecting, protecting and promoting human rights in the workplace, contributing to responsible and inclusive workplace practices
