The Agricultural Employers Association (AEA) conducted a Leadership and Supervisory Skills Training aimed at strengthening the capacity of supervisors and managers to effectively lead teams and promote positive workplace relations.
The training was held on 15th 16th September 2026 at Nelion Flora and 17th -18th September 2026 at Tropiflora Farm. The programme covered key areas including the roles and functions of supervisors and managers, effective communication, leadership skills, disciplinary procedures and principles, conflict management, teamwork and delegation. Participants were equipped with practical knowledge and skills to improve decision-making, manage workplace challenges and enhance team performance.
The training also provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on their current workplace practices and identify areas where the acquired skills could be applied to improve productivity, communication and employee relations.
